http://www.acpeds.org/the-college-speaks/position-statements/gender-ideology-harms-childrenMedical doctors proclaiming dichotomy of sexes based on xy/xx? Asleep while chromosome aberration was taught? Probably all aberrations of sex deciding chromosomes like XXY, XYY can be found in low %% ranges of population, but to start an argument on such a faulty description is bad in my book.
You could argue for a almost dichotomical phenotype based on female phenotype missing Y chromosomes, as the aberrations typically grow into male phenotype as well. Noooo, not describing Y as a rib ;-)
I am more in line with the idea of giving perceived gender a chance to line up with biological endowment, using drugs to suppress puberty sounds stoooopid to me. If later in life (better near 30 than legally being grown up) a doctor can be found to do chirurgical changes, that should be up to the individual, same as targeting same or other sex for fun. Very personal POV is that such operations should not be paid by all via insurance.
