Medical bills are insane here. I know a guy who was in Thailand and broke his arm. Went to the emergency room at hospital (which he said looked like most hospitals in the USA), got x-rays, a cast, saw two different doctors and got 3 (or maybe it was 4?) different kinds of medication. He sent a picture of his $18 bill. That would probably be $10,000 + here.
