>>Men are statistically FAR more likely to be sexually violent predators than women. Candidly, I am stunned that some pro-choice people who support reproductive rights (as I generally do) are OK with creating an opportunity for future problems against women in this realm.

>The same people who demanded that women soldier equally with men (the most idiotic idea I've ever heard) are SHOCKED, SHOCKED to see that those women are victims of unwanted sexual advances.

>Similarly the same people who lobbied for co-ed dorms (also idiotic) are SHOCKED, SHOCKED at the number of unwanted sexual advances in those same dorms.

>Any "ism" will have its fair share of stupid ideas but feminism abuses that privilege.

I feel like I'm living in a bizarre world. I'm agreeing with you and JR quite a bit this week! :)

Similar to the statements you just made, this "ism" movement has misquoted and exaggerated the % of sexual assaults on campuses (they certainly do exist, though the numbers have been exaggerated)....yet some have no problem opening the door for a new problem. This is the same movement that falsely equates heartbeat bills with attempts to criminalize birth control pills.
