>A woman joysticking a drone 5000 miles away does not seem idiotic to me

It does to me, if there are able-bodied men who can do that job.
A basic tenet of any war-fighting group is that everyone- no matter who- should be trained and prepared to fight.
It's self-evident that men are physically able to fight better than women.
During WWII, there were no men available so women filled roles which would have been better performed by men.
That situation hasn't prevailed for decades.
As long as there are men available, women have no place in any situation that might put them in combat, period.
I really don't care if women are willing to die.
I'm concerned about the people and the missions that they place at risk.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
