But the whole concept of trade revolves about the partners valueing the thing they get at least slightly more than the thing they give up?
A shrewd trader is one knowing of such windfall positions and making a profit on it - in earlier times taking the risk of transfering the goods.
A capitalist turning down profit or doubting his values ?
