I think Samsung's profits have dropped too - and their flagship phones are probably big competition for the iPhones. But like you said - not much new to offer lately. Samsung came out with the Note 5 - almost everyone I know with a Note 4 (including myself) decided not to upgrade because there just wasn't enough new features or specs to justify it. Plus they made it so the battery is not removable, no micro SD card slot - and got rid of the IR blaster. If the Note 6 is the same I won't get that one either and start looking at LG or HTC. The Apple folks though seem less likely to switch to something other than Apple, so if there are not a lot of new features then people are not going to upgrade because the units are so expensive.
>Apple has had very little innovation in their phones for a long time. But then, none of the phones nor phone OS has had much new.
