In my VFP 9 application I have a form with many, many controls and many features. Currently a user can only create one instance of this form. When he/she clicks on the menu to open this form, the program checks if the form is already instantiated, and if so, simply restores it.
Bases on some new business needs, I am thinking of allowing the user creating multiple instances of this form. My concern is that multiple forms will consume memory and possibly cause the application to slow down.
1. How can I control/determine how much memory is being used by multiple instances of a form?
2. Should this even be a concern with the computers these days having a lot of memory (2+ GB)?
