Now that you mention it, I have noticed it in the past. I typically use the scroll wheel these days, and the only time I actually click on the scroll button is to quickly drag it to a distant section of the current method. So, it usually doesn't matter to me that it has lost position, but I can see how that could be irritating. Clicking above or below the scroll button is the equivalent of PageUp or PageDown on the keyboard. Clicking the scrollbar arrows scrolls one line at a time.

I believe there is a way to use an alternate text editor, but it only applies to PRGs, not methods. FWIW, Matt Slay has added FoxPro syntax support to Visual Studio Code and Sublime: https://github.com/mattslay
