>>Feel sorry for Sanders who is about only credible candidate in these elections, (with huge popular support to!) but as it looks like he will be simply denied a chance to run.
(Delegates vs Popular Vote)
Apart from the 11 states with closed primaries/caucuses you don't even need to register with the party to vote in its primary, so voters of any persuasion could have helped eliminate both Hillary and Donald if they were so inclined.
Sanders is getting nowhere because his popular support is not translating to votes=delegates in primary after primary. Clearly the Donald vs Hillary choice is what the US voters want despite all the sniping and hand-wringing.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
