>Yes that is a very good point. I saw an article about this very subject today (I have not taken the time to read it yet though) - it was about how we have low unemployment and a weak economy at the same time. Perhaps I will have time to read it tonight - I could probably learn something from it :)

Take this from someone who studied economics and knows a thing or two about economic history. Low unemployment % (as it's calculated) is certainly good during times of economic growth. Low unemployment % during times of stagnant or very weak growth potentially means another recession is possible. Recessions are difficult to predict. It's like getting a bad head cold - you don't know about it until you get it. But the conditions we're in now (low unemployment, generally declining labor force rate, weak numbers on wages) are an indicator that another recession is possible.

And ACA is a factor in the struggling economy. Every month we have new (and rarely shocking) news about one more downward spiral. In addition to the news about UHG, and more bad news on the co-ops, now comes the news that Health Savings Accounts on the Exchanges are likely going to get cut. And if the Cadillac Tax indeed occurs in 2018, you can bet your bottom dollar it will further increase the odds of another recession. Watching Obama with regards to ACA is like watching the president of a software company with a mounting bug count, who elects to do nothing. I was about to compare Obama to Ed Esber (former Ashton-Tate CEO who resided over one of the worst software releases of our time...dBase IV), except that Ashton-Tate actually released a more stable version months later. ACA is crappy 1.0 software that the author/architect believes is just fine, and refuses to fix. That's why I detest his presidency - absolutely zero accountability.
