I'm increasingly concerned that Microsoft is doing everything in its power to snoop on its users of Windows 10. Privacy settings are all turned off by default; even if you nominally restore privacy settings and disable Cortana there are still background processes such as Cortana running all the time.
I'm going to explore the possibility of moving most of my business over to open-source. With that in mind can anyone suggest useful applications? LibreOffice is an obvious choice (are there alternatives?)
Various cloud service such as Google Apps might be OK but they're not exactly privacy-friendly either. If cloud apps are suggested is it possible to set them up in a private cloud?
E-mail/comms/groupware to replace Outlook/Exchange?
Any decent accounting/ERP systems?
