I still can't get over her at the first debate - where she stood there and claimed she had seen a video about planned parenthood that did not exist. Everyone knew it did not exist when she said it - yet she stood there on national TV and said it anyway... not to mention the fact she ran HP into the ground. This is the best that the GOP has to offer us now? I think the primary reason Ted picked her is because she's a woman - and as we all know the GOP seems to have a problem with women, so I guess its a strategic move on his part - after all Trump can't seem to go 48 hours without saying something derogatory about women. Our political system is in sad shape.
I really do not give a hoot about the shape of our political system. I am more concerned about how polarized this country has become in recent years. It seems that rational debate where the issues are attacked instead of the participants is a thing of the past. This applies to the left and the right alike. And it does not apply only to politicians.
