I have a different opinion. I think it's pretentiously sentimental, very superficial, and filled with faulty conclusions.

This article royally misses the mark on what is the "residue of design" versus chance. It also presents a false "either-or" regarding "self-made".
Tamar, I don't see much "evidence", as you remarked. I see cherry-picked anecdotes
