I'd love to see that data.
Everything I see runs counter to that.
People will be going to the primary tonight in Indiana- one of the lowest taxed states in the US- and voting for Donald Trump because many of the people in that state have been unemployed or underemployed for decades.
Those jobs have gone overseas or have been rendered obsolete.

Michael, why is it a consequence of increasing government power and not increased income concentration, or at least both?


Here in NJ and in neighboring PA state goverments have doled out billions in tax breaks to keep companies from moving.
That reduction in revenue, with no corresponding decrease in costs, inevitably meant that your heroes, the poor shlubs who pay taxes, had to make up the difference.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
