Before, when using a POP account, when an email was received in Inbox, in Outlook, an unread email appeared as bold blue indicating it has not been viewed. This is still the case. So, it remains as is, until we click on it. Well, this is a little bit different now. Before, if I clicked on the first bold blue email title in Inbox, and clicked Delete immediately, this was seen as read. So, once the email is moved into Deleted, it was no longer showing as unread. Now, with an Exchange account, if you repeat the same step, it is considered unread. You really have to move the cursor into another email and then going back in it to click Delete to make it seen as read, and if moved after into Deleted, this would still be seen as read.
So, basically, with a POP account, everything was smoother. With an Exchange account, it requires a mouse move out of the Inbox email title so it would be considered read. Anyone has found a setting so it would recognize an email Read as soon as we highlight it?
