Craig - if the config.fpw wasn't loading, would the same still happen for child 'forms' opening? It happens when the main 'form' of the app opens, and with each form spawned from this form. How would one check if .fpw is loading?

BTW - I used your solution for vanishing checkboxes after a RecordSource change, today - thanks a bunch!
