the config.fpw is executed before any vfp object(its some ini file for vfp).
screen=off in config.fpw make immediatly and before your form is visible the vfp window screen
invisible and always without any flash.

then cut the superflue "_screen.visible=.f." in the main prg (and other screen methods desserving any thing) and see what it returns ?
