I agree, McGovern was a war hero. No question.
Vietnam was always a complicated situation. The war (as it was fought) served no U.S. interest.
He also adopted a huge redistribution of wealth as an explicit program. Let's call it for what it is - expropriation and confiscation. So exactly what was he fighting for?
