You seem to have played with BeautifyX ( I can see by googling )
When I select Thor Tools > Code > BeautifyX
the dialog pops up
"BeautifyX has not been activated yet. By default, none of its settings are
activated.
Do you want to be taken to the settings form?"
I answered yes. There are some settings for BeatifyX , but how to activate BeatifyX is not clear.
Should I change anything from default, but it is weird way of activation. I assigned a hotkey to BeatifyX
The dialog above still pops up and nothing happens.
Update: Checking/unchecking some checkboxes in Options does activate BeautifyX and surprisingly solves my problem on selection even if we check "Apply Native VFP Beautify". In fact, I couldn't make indentation work for standard IF/ELSE blocks without checking this native option, but it is irrelevant to the original problem.
>>Documentation - "You can format specific blocks of code or the entire program file by setting the options you want in the Beautify Options dialog box."
>>Currently on my computer ( VFP9 SP2 Windows 10 Enterprise ) once block of code is selected and beautify applied, this block becomes cleared ( unselected ) and beautified , but the rest of the code disappears.
>>Re-installing VFP9 from scratch didn't make any difference . Don't remember such a problem before, just wondering whether any precedents are known.
