Agreed, cold is for lagers and the Black and Tan type beers.

I didn't do much beer drinking as a teen and even the early college years, because most of what was available was just plain nasty.

For me, the first beer that didn't suck was Moosehead. I first had it after my 21st birthday. Pretty good stuff at the time, but you had to drink it ice cold.

Another one I like is Newcastle Brown Ale. It's a good dinner beer.
