Rather humbling really, to see how many of our 3.0 programs that we thought worked actually NEVER worked because half the statement never executed...

In prior versions, FoxPro has STOPPED compiling at the first illegal element and ASSUMED that what is left is a comment.

You're right, the 5.0 compiler has tightened up a lot and is now finding all the "hidden" errors in all the old code that got past the 2.x and 3.x compilers.
