When I export an XLS file to CSV format and then try read that file into a cursor using APPEND FROM ... TYPE CSV the append ignores the first row. Why is that and is there something I can do about it?
[UPDATE] - I can pre-pend an initial header line with CRLF to the CSV and then it reads in OK. Is that the recommended way?
