Just shared a bit of a private story. An illustration of what happens at the street clinic level, which isn't interesting for the media, statistics, legislators et al.

I heard the story first hand, as it was happening, and lived with the guy for a few years. Now two daughters remained in the US (so now I have four grandchildren there :) and they visit regularly. And yeah, they do a bit of medical tourism while they're here.
