What happens if you give the adapter a cursor schema where that field is marked as date or datetime?

Haven't tried MySql last six years, but I know of a similar situation with SQL 2012 and later, which has a datetime2 type (seconds with up to 7 decimals - see here). This comes to VFP as a long string; I needed it only a couple of times in read-only selects, so I simply cast it as datetime in the select without delving deeper. If I had to send values back, I guess I'd first try to set it in the schema.
