wwIPStuff had support for SSL added at some point. If you check the West Wind web site you can see it's mentioned in the latest version's documentation.
Also, while it is still available, West Wind Internet Protocols has been discontinued and it's functionality, along with a bunch of other stuff, has been rolled into West Wind Internet & Client Tools
