>>When you come to Hamilton, NJ after we have a pint or two at the Ancient Order of Hibernians I'll take to you to a few toenail clipping mills whose waiting rooms are full of seniors reading Motor Trend (why do MD's put Motor Trend in waiting rooms?) while waiting to have their toenails clipped at taxpayer expense.

The physician takes Motor Trend for himself and moves discards to the waiting room so it's a business expense. ;-)

Perhaps you can find it in yourself to accept my assurance that Medicare does not pay for gratuitous foot care, including toenail clipping, unless certain indication boxes can be ticked. If this service is offered to all comers, then your toenail clipper may yet get an opportunity to try on some orange overalls. ;-) Alternatively, when the stern RAC or other auditor appears one day in the packed waiting room, your provider has a dossier of justifications for his every clip. ;-)

And certainly I would enjoy discussing it over a pint or two of medicinal substance one day. ;-)
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
