>And while things have become tougher for them, the establishment rhetoric - on both sides- has become increasingly irrelevant or even hostile to them.
>The Obama immigration initiative recently overturned by the court is a good example.
>To the poor jerk struggling to make a living, a president who thinks that keeping illegal immigrants here is the most important thing he can do is not only out of touch.. he's hostile.
>Trump and Bernie understand that.

Trump understands that - if Bernie understands that, he has certainly downplayed the immigration issue.

Not sure I would use the term "poor jerk", but you point is taken. And truthfully, if that "poor guy" even knew half of what the president has done to keep illegal immigrants here (such as lying to a federal judge about the implementation of his amnesty program), he'd be even angrier.

My entire adult life, I have never cared who comes to this country, so long as they behave themselves, abide by our laws, and support themselves financially. So I reject Trump's plan.

Having said that, it is one thing for a president to grant amnesty...another thing to force the issuance of work permits....and another altogether to write checks drafted by the U.S. Treasury for unearned money. So I was personally very happy to see that Obama's order got slapped down. He lost and he knows it.
