Could you be a bit more specific about your needs. Modbus RTU is a simple serial communication protocol mainly used by industrial controllers (PLC, PAC) and various other devices. It is a Master/Slave protocol and is one-master-to-many-slaves. Communication is simple bit-level communication, usually over RS-485. The important question is what are you communicating with and how and to what end?
