>I've upgraded to 6.0 and installed the VS service pack. Up graded from VFP 5.0a. My question is, I have a client that I,ve developed an app(exe) for in 5.0a but now I'm using 6.0. In order to send them a modified exe do I need to send them a new setup or can I just send them the exe like before so the have the new dll's and such?

You need a new Setup Wizard install - there are new DLL and OCX components required for the VFP 6 runtime environment. And don't forget my favorite - make certain that if they're using Win95, they have the current DCOM installed (not a problem if they have IE4.0; if not, they can install DCOM from the standalone distribution, either the DCOM98.EXE on the VS CDs, or the DCOM install available from Microsoft's Website at http://www.microsoft.com/com/dcom/dcom1_2/download.asp
