Yes. This problem appears on systems running Windows 95 without a current version of DCOM installed; one of the components updated with DCOM takes care of the problem. You can install DCOM by installing IE4, running the DCOM98.EXE from the Visual Studio CD on each Win95 station that doesn't have it installed already, or run the DCOM95 version 1.2 install available from http://www.microsoft.com/com/dcom/dcom1_2/download.asp

To determine if the system needs DCOM installed, check the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\OLE for the registry value EnableDCOM - if it isn't there, you need to install DCOM on the system.
