The dems seem to be more united and just kind of follow along like sheep and pick HRC because it's the 'obvious' choice.
She is the obvious choice of the inner party machinery. Just look at how Sanders was pushed out from the media, how many times they had to change the rules in the nick of time, and how only the superdelegates system saved HRC's ass. Their main argument against Sanders was "he can't win because we rigged the system in advance, so why don't you vote for her, a show of support would do us lots of good".
