I have been asked to help fix a problem with a windows 10 upgrade. There is a .mem file in the root (c:\) directory that holds the local workstation path to a dot matrix printer on a network print server. This is read every time the program is opened. All was fine until W10 - now an access denied message from W10 pops up.

Any ideas on how to solve that in windows? I have already given read/write permissions to Everybody, etc, etc...
