Paige,

This usually happens in a browse when you have a relation with SET SKIP TO set. In the parent table you'll see each record along with the first child record. For each subsequent child record you'll just see the ******* for the parent record. This data isn't really in the tables. Browse the tables with no relation set and you'll see what they actually contain.

Late last night I was browsing the tables in a form I developed and saw many record contained '*' in all the positions of all the fields. I believe it has to do with tableupdate() and relations. Has anyone listening ran into and solved that problem? TIA.
