HP is permanently listed in my family, and we had 2 laptops, 2 printers and a bunch of smaller stuff from them. They perhaps had great engineers in the nineties, everybody swore by their laser printers, but in the naughts it's all gone very bad. Both laptops had serious construction errors which HP didn't care about, the class suits went nowhere, as the things would start to melt after 13 months... And they even played the rebate scam. Now it's at a point where none of us would buy even a pencil sharpener from HP.
