I was troubleshooting this issue a little this morning, and keeping in mind that I am not very knowledgable I came up with a theory that I ran by our network admin and he said it is plausible, and I think it explains why it works for everyone else but not for me (us, we tried with different computers and users).

I ran a ssl scan on this website which reported some problems (you can run it here https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=www.levelextreme.com, Image #1 shows the summary), you can see that it has a low rating because, among other things SSL 3 is enabled making the site vulnerable to a POODLE attack and I think that this combined with the fact that our firewall does an SSL decrypt might be the cause of chrome not accepting the connection, at least that is what I understood from things I read this morning (for firewall I am just extending something I read about antivirus "'Check your antivirus or firewall program, eg. Avast or Bitdefender, and make sure you disable any option like "encrypted/SSL scanning or checking".", we do not have that setting on, so I extrapolate to the firewall, where we do have a similar setting and this might explain why it works for everyone but us, and of course we cannot switch that off)
