A simple puzzle: which other thing has these in common with strong typing?

- annoys most of the people but they suffer in silence because they were convinced this is the best way

- its proponents tout the importance of it, some make good money on it, and they do get to be important in their world

- it has the power to check what you brought, to the last detail

- it has the power to tell you what not to do and if you still do it, it makes it impossible to go further with what you intended to do

- still catches only amateurish mistakes.
