>The way you make change is at the grassroots. You work to get better people on the city council and in the state legislature, and then to help them rise through the ranks. You fight to get redistricting out of the hands of state legislatures and into bipartisan/nonpartisan commissions. Etc., etc., etc.

Wow!
Great to see that kind of passion.
I'll be attending a fund raiser for a local councilman next weekend, so I support your idea about working on things that
you can influence.

While most people were watching whomever speak in Phila Wednesday night, I watched Trump speak at a rally in Scranton, Pa.
It was broadcast on CSPAN.
I guess I'll have to ranked with the ignorant bigots, because what he said makes more sense to me that anything I heard in Phila.

Does saying that our deadliest enemies are Muslims make someone a bigot?
Then mea culpa. I'm a bigot.
Does wanting to enforce our immigration laws make someone a bigot?
Again, mea culpa.
Granted, he's got some prettty far out ideas on how to handle those issues, but did you hear any ideas from anyone else that make any sense?
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
