Michele - I have dealt with this problem this past week, and all the information I can find on the web says to stay away from general fields. I save the signature file, and then the path to the file in a character field (C:\XYZ\invoices\607517588.png - it works much better! Then in the report the controlsource for the picture in the report containing the signature is table.field, and the report will pull in the signature file for you. Works well!
