VFP stores the relative path in the classloc field. At one time the referenced class might have been in the same directory; so just the vcx file name is stored. Later you might have restructured the classes. In the Project Manager during the build process, it will locate the classes based on a stored classpath value (the class is found in the class path) - this could be from another form or class. Once a APP or EXE is built, the classes are all referenced without regard to the path.
