>no it pulls up with vfp, it just opens and does not execute like it use to in windows 7 since the upgrade to 10.
When you right click on the PRG, in file explorer, what are the actions available and, more importantly, which one is marked as bold?
In my Windows 10 system, it is "open", corresponding to MODIFY COMMAND - the behavior you're observing - while the verb "run" is also available, corresponding to DO.
For FXP, "open" (which in my system is localized to the Portuguese "Abrir") executes the program, which is what you're looking for. So, if I needed to put a VFP program under the scheduler, I would use the compiled version.
