I have developed and continue to maintain several customized in-house applications in Visual Foxpro as well as Visual Basic. Our workstations are all WindowsNT. I would like to automate the sending of EMail from my applications. To date I have used MHS as the message transport for these messages, but now that we're in 1998 and we have a brand, spanking new GroupWise 5.5 installation, I'd like to use it instead.

Seems to me I can either use DDE, or I can call the default message transport provider on the workstation through Win32 (or of course I can continue to use MHS) - but I'm new to this stuff and I could be missing something...

What options do I have for sending system messages and other user messages, and what are the relative advantages of each method?

I think so Brain, but "Snowball for Windows"?
