I think that's a reference to walking past the graveyard and whistling to prove you're not afraid. And yes, VFP is a graveyard, by itself. It's found new life in at least two places (Fox-in-Cloud and Linaja) however, which I find comforting. I still remember who answered my first two questions on the fox forum before CompuServe VendB: Tom Rettig and Glenn Hart. That set the tone of my experience with The Fox. Losing all of that would have torn at my heart.

The current release provides a better development experience than VFP, by-and-large. It's arriving shortly (probably early this coming week). The next version will have the Monaco (VSCode) editor with full intellisense, and add TypeScript. The UI improvements we need for Mobile will also be in the next version. In the meantime, we are indeed walking and whistling. Along with the occasional "holy s**t!"
