>I am getting and ERROR 41 message - which is a currupted memo field. This system has 12 users running on a novel network. The error is random and is happening on average once a day. What could be the possible cause for this error? We have looked at power supply amongst other areas But still cannot find the problem. does anyone have any idea's about this problem?

Before jumping in with any suggestions, it would help to know a bit more about the environment? What operating system is the application running under? What version of Novell's NetWare is being used at the server? What software is being used to connect the workstation to the server - in particular, whether the client software is Microsft's Client or Novell's Client (or if running under Win3.x, how is the real mode stack set up, with VLMs or one of the earlier monolithic driver sets?)

Without a further description of the operating environmnet, anything anyone tells you is at best a blind guess. Flesh out the details for us - and in partcicular, if the environment was stable at one point, and as a result of changes in the environment (new file server or NetWare version, upgrade to a new operating system, adding more stations or changing the cabling plant, etc) things started to get flakey, it might help track down the problem.
