I guess you mean that the detail band headers print with each detail record. If that's the case, then to avoid printing the header with each record, one way to accomplish it is to
- setup a var counter for each Detail band in the Report Variables section with Initial Value set to 0,... and Reset value based on the respective Detail,
and
- set Print When on all items in the detail header (with Remove Line If Blank) to varCounter = 0, where varCounter is the var setup in the Report Vars section for the respective Detail band
