Back when I was in those circles, the only incident involving a gun was a policeman carrying his gun even after work and shooting the pimp of a hooker he was sweet on in a red light bar as the pimp beat him up. BIG hoopla. But today it is becoming a seldom, but regularly occurring incident that oxygen not only by talking is moved into another molecular binding.

//upd: although RAF certainly had guns as well and police were conducting searches blocking traffic and searching cars pointing Uzis at drivers.
