It wouldn't. I'm way too tired and should have kept my big mouth shut. I meant
select language1, language2, language3...
in the order you wanted them. I've just been typing select * all day to try and get my problem working, I wasn't thinking straight.

By the way, I like the other solution of keeping an empty table around for this. That's much better, IMO, than mine.
