>Antonio - it is single record stuff that changes. In the child table are parts that need ordering. When they are ordered, the user enters an order date and an expected arrival date. That line the highlight forecolor then changes to green in the child grid (grid2). If there is more than one line of parts needing order (in the child table), and ALL records now have the two dates filled in, I want the parent grid (grid1) highlight forecolor to change from red to green automatically. If I use Ctrl + Tab to get back to the parent grid, the highlight forecolor changes properly, but I want it to change without having to jump back to the parent grid. And yes - the child grid name is grid2. Sorry if it sounds jumbled!
After the change in data is performed, you may try to issue Thisform.Grid1.AfterRowColChange().
