Grrrrr. why dont you than ask 'how to overcome a prompt: "xyz.idx already exists - overwrite it yes/no" ' Than we would have told you to first save your set Safety, than set it off - reindex and set your safety back to original.
Question remains: why do you reindex, does your index get frequently corrup? If so better find the reason why this happens as it is not default behavior.
