I think the US should worry more on the fact that since Reagan in most of the elections one member of 2 families was considered one of the favorites and often won.
Before the Kennedy clan I believe that was less common, but did not check aristocratic/oligarchic political distributions across time in the US.
I do know that father/son presidency happened very early on once and that FDR was only a distant relative to Theodore, but had ties to other former presidents.
Perhaps there is a good thing if HRC wins: the argument to need a woman as a first is afterwards not possible to one of the Kardashians ;-))
