>>I do not have a problem with making profits - I'm just saying there some things...like heath care ... where it shouldn't be allowed.

So you'd enjoy Switzerland where healthcare is funded privately by entities that are not allowed to make a profit.

I think the big error is imagining that if something is "socialist" then it's run ineffectively. That may have been true in old days when USPO and other national businesses were run as sleepy quangos around which the likes of UPC ran rings. But in 2016 it's normal for taxpayer-owned businesses to be run on sound commercial lines with commercial managers incentivized in the usual fashion and sometimes even the requirement to return a dividend on capital.

One day it will be an "everybody knows" that some things are too strategic to be left to privateers or chance. E.g. it would be a disaster if people have to find out about healthcare the way they found out about banking (in which the culprits suddenly dropped their market pretense and ran away, leaving the mess to the taxpayer) because healthcare would be far more difficult- even impossible- to rebuild as it was if momentum is lost.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
